Overseer Timothy Bourne serves the community of Starkville, MS as the Director of Student Assessment, Accountability, Accreditation, Discipline, & 16th Section Lands for Starkville Oktibbeha Consolidated School District. He is a dynamic presenter with expertise in the facilitation of effective teacher study groups as a professional learning tool, building student rapport to increase student achievement, data analysis to impact student achievement, and assisting teachers in developing their craft. Overseer earned his Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education, with special emphasis in chemistry and physics, and a Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership from Mississippi State University, graduating with a 4.0. He is currently working on his doctorate at William Carey University. Overseer Tim has worked in Washington D.C. for the United States Department of the Interior. While at the University of Southern Mississippi, he served as a Polymer Science Researcher focusing on the research topic: Synthesis of Ionic Liquid-Polymer Electrolyte Composite Materials by Frontal Polymerization.
